Mike is the President of Ethos Sports. Mike is also a certified contract advisor and oversees contract negotiation, recruiting and client management.

Mike played Defensive Tackle in the NFL for 11 years as a member of the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. Mike is a two-time Super Bowl champion and holds the distinction of being the only player to ever appear in 6 Super Bowls. Mike understands the dedication and commitment required to succeed in the NFL. During his playing days, Mike was a talented disciplined player who was described as having an unrelenting work ethic who strived for excellence both on and off the field. Mike prided himself on being a student of the game both on and off-the field. Mike applies those same qualities in the representation and management of his clients.

Mike had a standout football career which began as a Parade All-American at Brother Rice High School in Birmingham, Michigan. Mike moved on to become a standout All-Pac 10 defensive tackle for UCLA Bruins from 1985-1989, having appeared in four consecutive major bowl games. Mike graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History with a specialization in Business Administration. Mike is also an extremely active UCLA football alumnus who has spearheaded the formation and development of a UCLA Football Alumni Group which promotes UCLA’s football tradition and serves as a mentoring program for current UCLA football players.

After college, Mike was a 10th round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1990. Despite being a late-round draft pick, Mike’s knowledge, discipline, work ethic and dedication to excellence allowed him to have a standout professional football career of 11 years in the NFL. During his career in the NFL, Mike was extremely active in the National Football League Players Association. He was elected 3 times by his teammates to serve as his team’s union representative. As a team union representative, Mike was involved, among other things, in the auditing of the NFLPA’s financial budgets and instrumental in the negotiation and ratification of articles that were incorporated into the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement. Mike’s experience as a team representative gave him an understanding of the intricacies of negotiation and the CBA.

In addition to his standout football career, Mike also served as a color-analyst for FOX NFL Europe broadcasts and as a sports radio talk show host in Detroit.
